Offshore Commercial Renews FA Cup Sponsorship

Offshore Commercial, a leading provider of accounting and payroll services, is pleased to announce the extension of its sponsorship agreement with the Guernsey FA Cup for a further three years. Following the success of their partnership, which began in 2022, Offshore Commercial will continue to support local football, helping to nurture talent and strengthen the vibrant sporting community in Guernsey.

The Guernsey FA Cup, an annual football competition that has been running since 2004, brings together all the teams in the Guernsey League. The competition will continue to be known as the Offshore Commercial Guernsey FA Cup throughout the next three seasons, with the sponsorship now extended until the 2026/27 season.

Commenting on the renewed agreement, Craig Shorto, Director of Offshore Commercial, said: “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with the Guernsey FA Cup for another three years. Supporting the development of local football is something we’re passionate about, and we’ve been inspired by the commitment and talent of the players here in Guernsey. The enthusiasm and community spirit around the Cup make it a truly special event, and we’re excited to continue being a part of its ongoing success. Offshore Commercial remains dedicated to fostering football development in Guernsey, and we can’t wait to see how the competition progresses in the seasons ahead.”

Gary Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of the Guernsey Football Association (GFA), added: "The Guernsey FA is delighted to continue, and extend, its partnership with Offshore Commercial, who will sponsor the FA Cup for the next three seasons until the 2026/27 season. Securing the continued partnership with Offshore Commercial is crucial in ensuring that the competition remains one of the most prestigious in the Guernsey football calendar. The unique nature of the FA Cup, in that it is open to all adult men’s teams in Guernsey football, provides excitement and the potential for some intriguing matches. This season will also be the first in which the final will be held at the new Victoria Park stadium, and we are looking forward to working with the team at Offshore Commercial to ensure this is a great event for local football.”
